Operating Route
The Miike-Shimabara Line, a regular boat route that connects Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture and Shimabara City, Nagasaki Prefecture in about 50 minutes.
In 2015, the operating company changed from the Shimabara Railway High-Speed Boat Division to Yamasa Shipping Co., Ltd. The Miike-Shimabara Line of Yamasa Shipping Co., Ltd. operates Shimabara Maru, the high-speed double-hull passenger boat, and it connects Omuta Miike Port and Shimabara Outer Port with safety first policy regularly every day.
